I haven't been around much; sorry about that! I've been finishing my Nano Novel. It actually has a title, now, YAY! if not all the chapters have titles (it requires I do research. ICK). I have a few things to say - in fact, I'll post the disclaimer separately, and link to it.

As I said, I based this on the dares thread on the Nano forums. So I'll be posting those, too. These are SHORT, some of them; I don't think a single one was longer than 500 words. I was aiming for about 250, as 50000 / 200 = 250, but I didn't reach it with some, and went over with others.

Anyway! There is a lot going on, and because I know there are some people who don't know all the characters (I really did a lot from many different groups; it was originally titled Kpop Explosion, but I have a real title now), sadly including me, I will try to link pictures. The most recent ones I can find, and yes, I plan on getting a LOT of help with some of these people (and making sure I get then RIGHT).

I will, hopefully, start posting it tomorrow. Depending on how long it takes me to get the disclaimer/explanation up. As I have something going on tonight... it might not be until tomorrow, at which point the actual beginning will take place after that.

Okay, now I'm just rambling.

Okay, so my official word count for nano is 52905.

I still have... oh, 10 scenes to write, or less... I need to figure that out.

Anyway.

I'm considering posting it, but it would only be her. And I really do have to warn you all: it makes NO sense. NONE. just ask skyangel2009. But it was fun.

But it's not done, so I won't do that quite yet.

Okay, so I went and played on the dares thread at nanowrimo.org, and so had FUN.

I'm scrapping EVERYTHING. And starting over.

It will be crack. I can't guarantee I will make sense when this is done, but I don't care, I've been laughing all night and all morning, and I kid you not, I've laughed more in the last... oh, probably 12 hours than I have the last three MONTHS. If not longer.

So. Crack. Because I'm pretty sure that YoungSaeng of SS501 did not, in fact, go streaking JUST after the group released "Love Like This". I'm also fairly sure that DongHae will walk through doors, and not get transported all over the world. Um. And there is more, but I'm not going to mention anything else (because it's not planned yet. HAH!).

So. Yeah. Will post the table, and add in the titles as they are written.

But I'm probably not going to post this. I mean it when I say it makes no sense.

My goal is 75k, because I want to wrap up a bunch of stuff I have hanging around. And it bothers me.

I may not actually get that much; I don't know if the four other fics I have in mind have 25k left in them, combined, but I'll consider it reached if I've actually finished them. I don't even care if I never post them or anything. I'll have them done.

So I had a revelation (thanks to pavor_nocturnum):

I am going to have to sit down, recreate the characters, and just rewrite Chance, instead of trying to edit it. I think that's why I am having such a rough time putting it all together, trying to even get it out and edit it, because of the HUGE amount of things I have to do.

So, because of that, I have no idea what to post for witha_twist. I'll do... something, I don't know what, but something.

However.

That means, if I get the characters situated, and a basic outline, I have my Nano this year.

That is, if I manage to get rid of this writer's block.

At least now I understand it all!

So, I read some and skimmed most of the 3Bs book, and had another "a-ha" moment - again, nothing to do with the group - about the project in January.

1. I'm going to have to toss all the work I've done so far.

2. I need to split them into two camps - and try not to make it stereotypical, just from the powers standpoint.

3. I need to figure out who my main characters are. I cannot have 20; that was the problem with Triangle (although that one had 26). I need at least one main good guy and one main bad guy. I have a couple that don't feel stereotypical but probably are, and a couple that I hope aren't. I only have about five divided, as it got late and I couldn't think of names or powers.

4. It is possible I should think of a plot and work the powers around that, yes.

I went to my writing group today feeling like a complete failure.

In a month I usually get at least one thing done, I haven't even managed that.

But. Good friends and a fun word war (I hand wrote almost two pages) has made a huge difference.

Whew. I hate feeling like that.

I also got a 50,001 name babyname book for $2.00. Not bad!
