Okay, so I went and played on the dares thread at nanowrimo.org, and so had FUN.

I'm scrapping EVERYTHING. And starting over.

It will be crack. I can't guarantee I will make sense when this is done, but I don't care, I've been laughing all night and all morning, and I kid you not, I've laughed more in the last... oh, probably 12 hours than I have the last three MONTHS. If not longer.

So. Crack. Because I'm pretty sure that YoungSaeng of SS501 did not, in fact, go streaking JUST after the group released "Love Like This". I'm also fairly sure that DongHae will walk through doors, and not get transported all over the world. Um. And there is more, but I'm not going to mention anything else (because it's not planned yet. HAH!).

So. Yeah. Will post the table, and add in the titles as they are written.

But I'm probably not going to post this. I mean it when I say it makes no sense.

I have TWO fics left to do, and I think those will go fast, once I actually get the ideas for them...

I lost one, and then realized I hadn't posted it! It's a year and a half late...

I'm sorry I didn't get the last of the MiWook arc posted today - there is one more fic. Then I have a Junsu trilogy to post, the end of the ShinDong mutant!verse arc, and... a couple more random SuJu fics yet to post. While doing that, I'll keep working on the SiChun Mafia!verse arc, and other random things, because I feel a lot less... stressed.

I had an epiphany this morning. It was nice to have.

I decided to keep a running tally of everyone that I know that wrote fics about one of these pics.

So, g_myzo, do you mind if I put "Bus Stop" on the list (that is so a ficpic...)? And I know I've got one from skyangel2009, but I really thought I had one with two fics about it, but I can't remember which one it might have been....

Anyway, yes, I do plan on posting it at some point. I just don't know when. Probably when I'm done with everything else (yeah, when the band!verse and the urban fantasy thing goes away, and the HanMin... yeah. right). Everything else = my challenges.

I've been reading this book called "The Writer's Diet", in which the author postulates that people eat to block emotions, and with them, creativity.

I have this fic I'm writing, and it terrifies me.

No, I don't know why. but it does, and it's really... horrible! And so I sort of watched as I sabotaged myself at lunch, and yes, it really did turn out badly. I am going to try something different...

My stomach is not happy with me. Or, rather, I'm so nervous I can hardly stand it.

I dropped my claim for fanfic100 - Liz was right, I'm just stubborn. I need to ask a question of the 50ficlets mod, and I'll see what happens with the 10_letters stuff.

As per that particular comm, I am going to do a clearing out of my flist. Good chances are, if I haven't heard from you, or have no idea who you are, you'll be cut. Nothing personal. Well, against you. Personal preferences on my part.

What else... just doing some maintenance of my life; I may not be posting here much (if I can find that journal). I don't know. I'm rather expecting my life to go up in flames. With luck, this will help with the depression, bad moods, etc.

At least I can hope so.

I need to rethink my goals (yet again), too. But that's normal, and I need fewer of them. I'm going to try to keep writing. especially the requests - I have the meme done, at least, and of those from the post, I have two left to do (bffery, and KyuHyun and Yesung - I'm still working on yours, Jakin!).

I will also, probably in the next couple of days, do a fic dump. I have probably 15 left to post, not including the requests, so we'll see. I hope to get those posted, at least.

Does anyone know how to write a bloodbath without anything explicit?

So I was talking about my fandoms with mi_iseul - well, about friending memes, and why we don't do them - and went to find this post.

I decided it should be updated - and with the last three, brings the total up to 31 fandoms I've written in, however briefly (I'd say four, but I haven't actually written the PoT/CSI: Miami crossover yet).

In nearly 26 years, that's not so bad.

ETA: I wonder if I can write that crossover, without writing the first part?

So, after not wanting to post for weeks, I find I want to post everything I have.

That would be over 20 fics.

That's not including pieces of "Contracts", or the request fics that are ready, but the request fics would only bring it up to about 25.

What is wrong with me?

So I sat down and wrote a fic last night.

It was Horrid. Yes, with a capital H. (Thanks to wiccanlilly, I even noticed it.)

Somehow I've convinced myself that I can't write without a prompt list. I'm not sure how that happened.

I'm seriously considering dropping all the challenges I have (except the letters - One left for Atobe, three for Eiji - because they're fun and not the cause of stress). It'd be a shame, really, to stop 15 before I finished the Fudomine prompts, but....

Well. I have also become used to writing easily on the computer, and that is no longer the case. It's been a month with Dvorak, and I don't know it as well as I could. But I like it, so I'll keep it up.

anyway, those are my thoughts for the day. Morning.

I have posted these goals, forgetting a very important thing.

To make them S.M.A.R.T.

I have good friends who remind me of this (thank you, wiccanlilly).

To recap, for me (these are from here):

S: Specific
M: Measurable
A: Attainable
R: Realistic
T: Timely

So.

Specific. As in: write at least one fic a day between now and the end of the year, exceptions for Sunday and Christmas. It doesn't even have to be on the computer. But it does need to be finished.

Measurable. I can point to it and say "that is done."

Attainable. I can write one fic a day (unless one gets away from me and gets long. In which case I'll get as much done as I can, and move on to the next one on the next day).

Realistic. Much more so than before. some days, I might be pushing myself, but that's okay, too.

Timely. In other words, by 12/31/2008.

And, the ones I really want to get done:

Fudomine: since I have the Manga out of the library. I have at least eight (I think) ideas.

I want to finish the Mafia!verse stuff, too, which means some editing, but the SiChun can wait for a bit.

And I want to write the next part of contracts.

I think that's it, so...

That's the plan. I'd best get on it.

Writing group today - that was fun! I didn't get much written, but we had such a huge group that it didn't matter. We had three girls from the High School, and a young man who was one of the Municipal Liason's students. It was a blast. We really had fun! It was a much needed break from the seriousness of Nano, and no one seemed to care that I had decided not to do it.

I'm sad, yes, but I think it's a necessary thing.

I have this list from skyangel2009 - well, that I helped her creat prompts for, she did most of the work - that, if I can come up with a storyline, and finish the other pending challenges, I'll do a janowrimo, and see if I can't get 50k words in January. I might put it off to February (although that would be HARD, hello, short month), but if I can just get these done, that will help.

This afternoon, Scott went shopping for electronic stuff. He picked up the digital converter boxes, and shopped for the big screen tv he's wanted for about a year. So, after dinner, we went to get it. We found the tv, and the table to set it on, and now we get to rearrange the family room by next week some time.

This is good. It means we will need to clean up the room. Clean out the book cases, things like that, and find places to put thing.

Oh. Joy. But it has to be done, and we can do it.
