I'd forgotten this.

I'm going through my old entries, and found something I'd forgotten about.

My husband, often, is a genius. And here are some wonderful ideas for crossovers.

I'd completely forgotten about them....

One: the quote of the day from Google is from Anais Nin: "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are."

Isn't that just the truth. I know this, and yet I keep forgetting it.

Two: hakkais_shadow, I'm serious about this. Poke me when you get on next time. I have something you'll rather enjoy (I hope). I really like that prompt you gave me. SungMin's FUN. I want to know if you like him this way, too.

Three: I've taken a break from the crossover (I cant' even remember if I named it, now... um... Oh, right! No Walk in the Park! duh...), and I think I know how to make it work. If I can figure out how to keep Junsu from spilling identities of people who just rescued him.... Because I see no possible way for him to miss that. Unless Scorpina put some kind of glamor on him, but she never had that kind of magic, I don't think.

Well, I'll figure it out. I hope to have that finished by the end of tonight, too, even if it's just in my notebook.

Four: I have to type up the DBSK fic hakkais_shadow requested - I think it's got a nice twist at the end. I enjoyed writing it, anyway.

Okay, I think that's all. Originally, this was to be two things. Aiba, up there, is for the second one. Because I haven't used him much at all, recently.

Next time, I'll use the other Aiba. ^_~

Yeah, I've been thinking of another one.

I just... don't have a story yet. I do have a preliminary meeting between:

One Park Yoochun, singer for TVXQ (who was in California earlier this month, in May) and

One Adam Park, resident of California, former Power Ranger.

They could be cousins. It could happen.

The things I still need to do from this list, and probably a few more.

Because I'm lame and didn't get it all done. Oh, and some of them changed.

• Final confrontation - how and where, and how to keep Boa alive without killing Siwon and Kibum.


• final scene - because I have no idea who's alive aside from Boa. urg. Sorry, hakkais_shadow, I think I'm going to kill a lot more pretty, but I think Kibum will survive. I can't promise the same of Yesung.


• Finish part 15 of "Arashi's Tower"


• Put in the corrections in the notebook


• Update 101 in 1001 (I have one to add!) and sit down and figure out what my goals will be for next month.


• Get the rest of In Pieces (it's short) into the computer. I need to finish this in the next two or three parts. I need an ending.


• Get what I have of Hour Plus (it needs a new title, maybe After an Hour? Maybe something else, since the prequel title has nothing to do with the title of Just an Hour....) into the computer.


• Strikes for TPU


• Get started on the DBSK fic rolling around my head.

I can't think of any more.

I'm going to make a list again, because that seems to (sort of) work.

This is what I want/need to get done today - this is completely aside from the ten pages I have to write on Triangle....

• Finish part 15 of "Arashi's Tower"


• Put in the corrections in the notebook


• Rework the conversation about going back to Seoul into going to China - still reveal Boa is pregnant


• Get a message from Sho to Xiah's screen about Siwon - make them change their minds - or have him find Jun torturing Siwon? could work, Boa would insist on going back


• Move the cast list again - so I don't have to go back so far to update it (and figure out how to get rid of Ryeowook. Seriously) - and decide who else needs to be in on this thing


• Update 101 in 1001 (I have one to add!) and sit down and figure out what my goals will be for next month.


• Get the rest of In Pieces (it's short) into the computer. I have an idea of what happens once he's back in the hospital, how to get him back into the hospital, but not so much what leads up to it. Gah.

• Post for Ryou, and sign him up to apply for staying in the dorms, because he's NOT going home, since he doesn't have Saeki's place to stay any more.

Someone just... kill Yesung for me (actually, considering I read two stories with him committing suicide, maybe not....)? Seriously, he's eating my brain, and he's not allowed!

I understand, now, why Karen Wiesner suggests an outline, and a detailed outline at that.

I am on my second fairly major overhaul of Triangle - I'll never reach the end, at this rate! Although I might win - adding some scenes, moving things, stuff like that.

One of the problems I ran into last night (sooner, probably, but I was talking with skyangel2009 about it and it came up) was that I didn't have a concept of just how small Korea is. And the fact that it's on a peninsula didn't help.

The main problem was that they had gone too far in too short a time, and they were running out of places to run.

So, I had to go and fix that. It's not bad - it gives me a chance to have one scene actually have a location, instead of something random - but there are other things that have to be added (DongHae gets additional screen time, not a bad thing). I got through 23 pages of script, and ran into a (rather familiar) brick wall.

I get so far in editing on paper, and then I can't do it that way any more. I don't know why - it's really bizarre - but I just couldn't make myself sit down and rewrite the next scene.

Looking at this as an outline would help. I might as well, really, since that is what it is, but the main problem is that I just can't see the end. That might not be so bad - and my hopes are that as I keep working the beginning, fine-tuning it, so to speak, the end will show itself. As soon as the beginning gets into alignment with it.

It'll be interesting to see who actually survives this.

I think I might have one - unless the people in this (these?) fandom are more understanding. Seriously.

If - when - I post Triangle, I'm going to be posting it on THREE different comms: arashirabu, hug______, and miracle______.

Am I going to get another complaint, about how the entries come up three times on someone's flist? I mean, really. I don't care for that to happen again. Once was enough to make me stop watching tenipuri and... kikumaru_lovers or whatever it was, and I rather like these.

On the other hand, by the time Triangle is done, "The Best Days of Our Lives" will be done, too, and so it doesn't really matter for that, and choconova's fic will probably be done, too - "Winter Arashi", that's it. But I don't want the bad taste such behavior leaves in my mouth, either.

Oh, well. If it happens, it happens.

writer's notes: Don't ask. I... just don't, okay? Plot bunny bit, I wrote, and I wanted them to laugh. Because.

I worked on this instead of Triangle. Yes, I'm an idiot. It came out to about 1,039 words.

OH! Please, suspend disbelief - they have to have a language in common, and I picked one.

So, I had this nice little plot bunny biting at me lately, and today I finally wrote it up.

I have to get permission from hakkais_shadow to reference his wonderful little fic (and borrow his characterization for Aiba), and if I get it, I'll post it.

Okay, so the obligatory list for today.

This includes EVERYTHING I hope to get done with:

• Fix ending on "Not Guilty" - it's not pretty, but it's done, and I'm not doing any more. Yes, if you want, you can read it. I'm not posting it, but I'll email it.


• Add at least 500 words to "Arashi's Tower" - more if I can manage it. Adn that does not count the scenes I'm about to type in because I've written a couple in the future, and I want to get them in the computer


• Add about 500 words to "Project"


• Characters for Arashi/B5 crossover. Oh, this is STUPID.


• 500 words on "Things that go Bump" - get the phone call out of the way, at least?


• Straighten living room


• Straighten Kitchen - fill dishwasher, maybe run it, maybe start dinner?


• Entry for Akira on tenipuriu - I don't want to have to strike myself again


• Straighten family room


• Finish watching "Soul Hunter" - maybe


• Log with Kouhei

Because I'm just SICK of having these things hanging around. I don't WANT another fic, drat it, and they come and keep bangin on my head. At least the Samurai are silent. Three logs later, and they're at rest. Awesome.

I woke up with an Arashi/Babylon 5 crossover in my head.

List of things to work on, and I am going to be ruthless on this.

Bump in the night: I have GOT to get moving on this. It's bordering on the ridiculous.
Life Must Go On: I can ask the hard questions now. But I need to finish it.
Reconciliation: I need to figure out what things will happen on the anniversaries.
Challenge fic: Just... get it finished.
Arashi's tower: I need to figure out how to make this work - and get Lisa's comments on my palm.
Project: Something to take up a good 1k words, from Ryou's pov. Something to make Sanada want to follow him one Wednesday night.


Set aside until I feel like doing them or completely toss them:
Friendship: Inui still needs to play the captain. adn then they have to do something about Eiji.
Unwilling Return: Seriously? Needs to be retired. Not worth it to keep going. Ryou's stubborn, and Saeki isn't any better. That just isn't going to work out.
Destruction: Yeah - either write on it, or retire it.

Outlines:
Haunted: YES. Must do.
New World: just... something. Anything?

There's probably more, but right now, I'm missing CSI:MIami. So, I'm off.

I'll do everything else tomorrow.

• Project - going nowhere. Maybe I should try writing this scene from Ryou's pov, but I think it needs to be from Sanada's. He's just got to do something his precious Yukimura is not going to like.


• Challenge fic - Well, at least I got him into a tennis match. Now what? And how far do I push - and how good should this other bozo turn out to be?


• Things that go Bump in the Night - seriously. This is ridiculous. I need to take that outline, and go over it. And change what needs to be changed.


• Letters - oh, how I wish I'd never even started this one. Stupid, stupid...


• Haunted - seriously. I need to read it, figure out what needs to be cut and rewritten to go with Jovieve's suggestion, and then outline that. Figure out how to make it work.


• New World - I need to start working on that outline. I'd like that to work, somehow. Main problem: How to get the Go'auld OUT of Karone without killing her (could she do it, with her magic? But how...). Oh. and I need to watch the Space season again.

So, there it is. Maybe if I typed the letters out I have written....

The worst part of this is that I have this... table of things I'm working on, and some of them I look at and think "what's that? I don't even know what I meant when I wrote that. What's that fic?" So half of the ones I should be working on, I'm not because I don't know what I'm even trying to work on....

Fudomine

So - of the things to do on my last list, these are what I've managed to finish. Quality is... not so important, just as long as I get started.

1. Outline - including notes for each letter and pictures to go with - and lines I'd like to use in a few of the letters


2. Printed: Outline for Bump the Night - good to have, so I know what goes next.


3. Printed: hagar_972's email - good, so I can at least hit the main parts, and then start filling things in.


4. Started the crossover - I'm still not sure how it's going to work out


5. wrote some on challenge (or whatever I called it) story. Still no clue how to get it from where I am to the ending scene. Nothing is presenting itself.


6. Made some progress on the AC fic, and I have an idea for what follows (yeah, get Rufus involved. Heh. That'll kill one more fic.)

I think that's everything.... Now to just type it up, right?
