Part two.

I did a LOT today: I finished Emma, emptied and at least started to fill the dishwasher, put the pork chops in to marinade, and did a majority of the two dresses.

I ran out of thread. So I have to get more tomorrow, and maybe a pattern for a tie or two...

This looks like it'll work.

And, you know, it's been a ballad day. Before I even turned on the computer.

So, a couple of things:

1. I'm making my girls dresses for Easter. I must be insane. Seriously. I will take pictures, because I think they're wearing watermelon. It'll be cute. If I can get it done.

2. I GROSSLY underestimated how long this fic is going to be. Thirteen scenes, two and a half done plus header = 966 words. And I thought 2k. Right. If it comes in under 10k, I'll be surprised.

Why can't I get short ideas? Even once in a while?

My sister told me about this idea on how to make an easy ballerina tutu. Get a spool of six inch tulle, cut it all in the same length, and tie it around a one inch wide headband.

Well, we went shopping and found - no six inch tulle. Instead, we had a sale on netting. So, I got some of that, and just spent an hour making it into tutus for Maggie and Elyssa.

Urg.

But they're cute, and they'll do, I just need shirts for them (so doing laundry tomorrow, lots of it) or something, and shorts or something, hm.... anyway, we'll figure it out, but they'll be cute!

And now, CSI: Miami is on, and I am going to watch it.

I had a couple of brainstorms this morning.

One: how to fix my website so at least it's a little more user friendly - hagar_972 mentioned that there were a lot of fics that weren't accessible easily on there, and she's right - so I at least took some notes.

Two: a breakdown of projects - at least under the broad category of "sewing" - that I'd like to do. The actual compliation is going to take much longer than this, but at least I'll have a preliminary list.

Three: I need a list of things to remember in my prayers. Otherwise, nothing I want to pray for (or no one) will actually get into it, since my mind is so distracted all the time. I'm working on that, but for now, I need a list.

I think that was it; the project list is particularly daunting, actually, but I'll figure it out. it's half done, sort of, already, so that helps.
